Stop being so interesting! I've been trying to clean my kitchen for the last 30 minutes but you guys keep me entertained! I knew having the computer in the kitchen would be my down fall

when you can afford it, get a netbook and set up a wireless network. then there won't be any issues.

Would love to do that, but that is an expense very much so out in the distant future. We might discover hyperdrive before i can afford one

...I'm here. I'm not queer. But I'm close. So get used to it.
.........no wait. I'm not close at all. I need a new chant.

Ah, Top Gear. Truly a perfect TV show.
They butcher it somewhat when they show it in the US, but it's still great. The holy trinity of Jezza, Hamster and Captain Slow are endlessly entertaining.
Hammond's prediction of how he would die:
"I love that vision of just blasting through the gates of heaven, backwards, in a flaming Swedish supercar! "Yes! I'm here! Where are the women?" "
Even funnier when you remember after saying this he survived a crash in a rocket car.

It wasn't a Swedish rocket car, hence the survival.

Re: OKay, seriously guys
I love it when they have special assignments. Like Jeremy driving to the Italian alps, while James and Richard fly. Jeremy still beats them.
Then of course driving across Bolivia in death trap 4x4s.
And the way they interact! It's like watching a bunch of 5 year old boy discovering their willies and saying "mine's bigger than yours!"

Re: OKay, seriously guys
Did you see them in their competition against the German Top Gear team?
They were given specific instructions by the producers not to mention the war.
They turned up in Spitfires.
Yes I know stuff like that is scripted, doesn't stop it being funny though.

I didn't know there was a German Top Gear team.
And the Spitfires? That's about par for the course for them.

Re: OKay, seriously guys
It was a great episode. One of the challenges involved double-decker cars, driven by one of the crew (not the presenters).
The German crew consisted of 1 guy, the British crew was about two-dozen strong.
Who do the Brits get to do the driving? The amputee sound-guy. Whose artificial arm falls off during the race.

Re: OKay, seriously guys
The sound guy had lost his arm to a shark attack, and he kept driving when it broke. Not very well, but still...
The Germans referred to Jeremy as "Top Gear Boss" since his leadership (and height) were completely unquestionable.
Also, Sabine Schmidt wasn't too hard on the eyes.
