Family Game Night
We've instituted a family game night for our household. Our favorites are the LotR monopoly, and a new game called Labyrinth put out by Ravensburger. We also play MouseTrap on occasion.
What is your favorite boardgame?

Re: Family Game Night
I have quite the collection to choose from when it comes to Family Game Night. Apples to Apples, Life, Conan the Strategy Board Game, Marvel Heroscape, a Dungeons and Dragons board game designed as an introduction to AD&D 2e, Othello, 13 Dead End Drive, Monsters Menace America, LotR Risk, Clue, Jumanji, Munchkin (with all but 3 expansions), and Munchkin Pirates...
...and this does NOT include the number of miniature games or additional card games or whatever else I also own.

Munchkin is fun but you got to have at least 4 people for it to get interesting.bimo wrote:I think Munchkin is also my favorite game
Another fun game is Scabble.

That's true, just ask Vampy.maron wrote:Oh and not to mention zombie fluxx. Everything is better with zombies in it
We quite like playing a card game called Lunch Money. It's based around schoolgirls beating the crap out of each other.

Re: Family Game Night
Zombies!!! (along with several expansions)
Last Night on Earth
Agricola (although I don't own a copy)
Munchkin (which has a zombie set coming out)
Zombie Dice (which will link up with Munchkin Zombies)
Bell Bottomed Badasses on the Mean Streets of Funk
Unspeakable Words
That is most of what I keep out and available for game nights.

It's fun I just can't bring myself to buy it for the price that the game companies are charging for it.Mountebank wrote:What's Last Night On Earth like? I was thinking of picking that up.

Flying Frog I think is the name of the company. It is one of the more expensive games (around the price of Castle Ravenloft) but it is a zombie survival game. Around 1-1.5 hours for a game. Depends on how well at least one person is with it. Fun as hell. There is an expansion I have not picked up yet.
