We're FREEEE!!!!!!!!

Just had our LAST visit from the Children's Aid caseworker. We are no longer having to jump through the multitude of hoops that we were required to go through to prove that we were good enough parents for Moppet.

In summation? Keep the house sanitary, adhere to the fire codes, and we won't see them again.

Oh, and since Moppet has been evaluated, she is considered healthy, happy, well adjusted and we are (ironically enough) very good parents. We have received nothing but praise when it comes to our parenting skills.

We just seem to be lousy housekeepers.

I ever find out who reported us in the first place won't know what hit them. Evil or Very Mad

Oh, I'm already very sure of who it is. when the "anonymous" tip came into CAS, they specifically mentioned the state of Moppet's room. There was only one person who actually ever SAW her room in that state who wasn't family. We don't have a lot of people over to our house.

I haven't spoken to her since. I figure if she is one of my few friends, then she can call me and I haven't heard from her in 5 months. I figure it's a guilty conscience.

At this point, all I'm concerned about is keeping the house in a semblance of order, and making sure that Moppet stays a well adjusted little girl.

Sucks when people don't mind their own business.

Ever tried Flylady? It helped me keep things on track when I needed a kick start back in the day. I've never been the most fastidious housekeeper myself.
