Worst Movie Ever

In your opinion what is the worst movie that you have ever seen?
Up until last weekend I would have said Twilight but now I have to say without a doubt it's Skyline. That movie was so bad I couldn't even 'Mystery Science Theater 3000'ed it to make it amusing. The script was poor, the acting was mind numbing, the effects were possibly the best thing about the movie and that's not saying much. If I had paid to see the movie I would have walked out on it. i don't care how much I paid. But since I saw it for free I gave it a chance and it was a mistake.

Manos: the Hands of Fate is definitely the worst movie I've ever seen. Even with the MST3K commentary it was barely watchable.

Other contenders that I saw without any saving commentary: Plan 9 From Outer Space and Dragonball Evolution

Definitely Manos, nothing I've seen can top that one.

The Last Airbender. Without a doubt one of the worst movies I've ever seen, the main reason being that Shamalan (sp?) pretty much bent the series over a table and humped it into a state of horrid-ness. But the other being that the acting was simply terrible.

Lost in Space, The Cell, and Flash Gordon while not great movies at least are watchable without wanting to tare your eyes out.
The Last Airbender I was able to watch it with a Mystery Science Theater 300 from of mind and was amused because of the remarks I came up in my head while watching it. I also saw it while on the flight from China to Japan in a Japanese dub and that made the movie enjoyable.The voices had the needed emotions that was lacking from the actors who did the sceens. I will admit I would not pay more then 5$ to buy any of these movies, prolly less.

Agreed that Manos: The Hands of Fate is an awful movie, one that the MST3K crew could almost not make watchable.

Dragon Wars: D-Wars was a terrible, awful, revolting piece of SHIT!....but the dragons were pretty. "Hey, let's throw all this money in for quality CGI monsters!" "What do we have left for the script?" "......oops!"

I happen to love Flash Gordon and most any movie that Queen helps with the soundtrack

I never said i didn't love flash gordon its just so cheesy.

yeah, but that makes it fun to watch.

My favourite guilty pleasure would be Grease 2, with a very young Michelle Pfeiffer and Maxwell Caulfield. Absolutely awful, but I still like to watch it occasionally.

I can't even stand Grease 1, with it's message about caving to peer-pressure and all. I was forced to watch it in music class one year. Teacher loved it almost as much as she loved inflicting it on us.

There's a podcast called Filmsack that makes watching these bad movies a lot of fun. Every week, they watch some crappy or weird (sometimes they're actually good) movie from Netflix streaming and discuss it. The hosts are both knowledgeable about movies and hilarious. I've ended up watching some of the worst movies ever because of the show, but it's totally worth it.
