Krewmembers, SoulCalibur style
(Note: at the moment, this is just a placeholder topic for later)
So a few years ago, when I'd first gotten Soulcalibur III, on a whim I started making "Create-a-Soul" characters based on some of the more notable Krewmembers. Some of them were pretty good, others, not so much.
Anyone interested in me doing this again?

PS2 - I'd have to photo the image off the screen and post it here. I've gotten decent results before.

I actually did a bit of this in Soul Calibur 4.
The character creator is not as versatile, but it's still workable.
Now if only I had a decent camera...

I'd like to see that, too. There are adjustable body types in SC4, are there not?

There is a physique and muscularity slider, but it doesn't do a whole lot.

Ah, sort of like the older WWE games.

Those were pretty good, and could get quite close to whatever you wanted.LyingBastard wrote:General Specific wrote:There is a physique and muscularity slider, but it doesn't do a whole lot.

Hmm, that gives me an idea... Of course I won't be able to act on the idea for a few days, but it's an idea nonetheless...

If I still had a PS2 and whatever game it was that had the better system, I would.LyingBastard wrote:Mountebank wrote:Those were pretty good, and could get quite close to whatever you wanted.LyingBastard wrote:General Specific wrote:There is a physique and muscularity slider, but it doesn't do a whole lot.

Re: Krewmembers, SoulCalibur style
OK, I've got mine uploaded and I'm going to start posting them. I'm going to be putting about 3 people on each post, so if you don't see yourself right away, just give me some time.
Please keep in mind that I took pictures with my digital camera of my plasma tv, so some of these are blurry and that cannot be helped. I tried to mitigate that as much as possible.
Also, I made decisions on costumes and such with my best judgment on how much I know about you and even your posting style. For the most part, they turned out really well. If you don't like the design I did for you, let me know. Give me some tips on how to improve it and I will try to do so.
I will try to post a little bit of info on my thought processes with each character.

General Specific
Ok, yeah, gotta start with me, sorry.
Basic design of a knight in armor, but with a samurai sword. Fighting style is Mitsurugi, of course.
General Zod
It's a simple design and I was really pleased how well it came out. The voice I chose even has a bit where he tells you to "Kneel before" him. Fighting style is Nightmare.
Rowan
Very pleased with this one. Easily my favorite design. The dark green and white contrast nicely and the celtic designs on the dress coupled w/ the dragon on the breastplate really works well together. Fighting style is Sophitia.

Re: Krewmembers, SoulCalibur style
Maron
I tried to incorporate Maron femininity into this, thus the lace and bow, etc. Also, I used Setsuka's weapon (blade hidden in an umbrella) because it ties into that and is the fastest in the game.
Willow
CAT! SHE'S A KITTY-CAT! WITH A DANCE DANCE DANCE, A DANCE DANCE DANCE!
I just had to. Fighting style is Raphael because it is quick and has a fluid, dancing motion.
Kid-Spider
I tried to duplicate the Jayne hat and it only partially worked. Fighting style is Voldo.
