Re: Krypton Photo Vault
I see you have the Pathfinder books.
They're pretty amazing arent they?
Love how they pretty much said fuck a 4th edition you money grubbing bastards, let's just expand on actual lore, history and roleplay instead of retarding the rules.
And the few rule changes they did implement are friggin' kick ass.

Dude, I write Pathfinder-compatible roleplaying books. I love the system.

I never said 4E sucks - that was Zod. I just prefer Pathfinder. 4E is better than, say, Palladium, or old Shadowrun (hope you brought 5 lbs of d6's).

Re: Krypton Photo Vault
I think I still have 10 pounds of d6's from when I played Champions (now called Hero System)...
And for the record, I am sold on the speed with which our game runs now. 3.5 to 4 hours of gaming and we can easily get in 2 encounters... sometimes 3.

Yes, "I" say 4th ed sucks. because.. it SUCKS!
and I thought Champions was the best superhero roleplay system out there.
Didnt see the need for them to 'upgrade' to hero-system.
I thought Palladium had it's day in the sun, it was a pleasant divergence from D & D at the time.
Cant stand shadowrun.. .. kindly keep your cyberpunk out of my Dungeons and Dragons good sir.. or.. your dungeons and dragons out of my cyberpunk! (as I love both separately )
Been aching to give Hackmaster and Aces and Eights a try, anyone done so yet?

Re: Krypton Photo Vault
No, but I endorse, in advance, the cinematic action RPG 'Exploding Aces' by CJ Ruby, which is currently in closed beta, so to speak. It will be a d6 based system as well.

Re: Krypton Photo Vault
Allow me to make a point before "zashing"... 4E sucks... for you. This is assuming you have, in fact, tried playing it. The majority of people bashing it locally here have never played it. Or sat in on a single demo of the game and are suddenly masters of the rules, concept and intent of the game.
You'll not hear me bashing 3.5 or Pathfinder. They are solid systems for the type of game those players are looking for. It is also a strong move for Paizo to cover the people that are intent on bashing 4E no matter what. But, for my players, for my game, we can get the most enjoyment out of 4E. (And for the record, 3 of the 6 players in my group were anti-4E until they played the campaign for a while.)
Just sayin'...

That's kind of like saying you don't understand the fascination with sleeping in a warm bed or a warm bowl of soup on a winter's day. It's elemental, primal, it simply is without need to explain or question.

I Prefer the seinfeld answer:
It's cause men are fasinated by what they don't have.

There were at least 2 dudes on seinfeld who did.
