Sigh, time to go get poked and prodded....
I have a doctor's appointment,
BUT maybe good things will happen like a new sleep study to get my breathing machine adjusted and I can make sure I'm not diabetic or anything, yay...
Yeah, still no fun but whatever, gotta do what ya gotta do right?

make sure that doctor gives you a lollipop!
NO! seriously!

Is saw this on mythbusters or some such and Snopes.com confirmed it as well!
Doctors have thousands of lollies in their closets!
total write off!
and if they dont give you the lolly they get to keep it for themselves and bilk the public out of millions each year in Lollipop write offs!
DOnT AsK !! DEMAND THAT LOLLY!!
...and make sure it's rootbeer flavored.

Re: Sigh, time to go get poked and prodded....
So, that was interesting. In short I'm anemic, stressed and female, go figure If you're interested in more details click the spoiler box, totally your call, lol.
- Spoiler:
- So, the anemia is a new development for me, and it could actually be the source of my general tiredness and heart palpitations which could also be aggravated by stress, which she wants to put me on lexapro for (may or may not take it, have to look into it )
All of this ties into my cycle, which may or may not be stopped through medication until my iron levels are more normal. I would prefer not, my family has a long history of not doing well with chemical birth control methods which is what they'll want to put me on if my iron stays low. So I have a month or two to try to get the levels up before she seriously wants me to consider taking something along those lines. (as much as the idea of no cycles for a few months is appealing, I just don't like the idea of taking hormonal birth control )
And I am going to have someone come out to look at my breathing machine, make sure it's working right and hopefully adjust it so that it doesn't blow out my eardrums when I'm trying to sleep/breathe at night
I should have known she was gonna try to medicate me to death XD
(I am a very bad patient. I hate medication and I will refuse to take medications if I think they might cause more problems than they fix)

Yes, why take medication when it can make you better, just because it isn't what you want?
Look, sugar, I put off getting something treated for years for the same reason, and it nearly cost me a limb, so LISTEN TO YOUR DOCTOR.

On a good note, I was convinced I've been gaining weight but apparently I'm holding steady and am in fact about a pound or so lighter than last time I went (About 2 months ago).
I can live with that, especially since I've been eating badly and not exercising like I should. Means if I DO get back on track I'll do awesome. Good to know.
