first choice would have been a recurve bow but I can do a nice short sword.

and so the adventure begins!
(keep in mind, anyone can respond.. so be wary!)

Making your way down the dirt trail to a nearby town, you pass through a seemingly peaceful apricot orchard. That peace is broken as you come across a gnome shouting up towards a pig in a tree.

Ignore them both
Fire upon the pig
attack the gnome
inquire
oh! apricots! pick a few!

the gnome, a male at that, pulls his pointed beard and rubs his sunburned scalp before turning to face you.
"Eh? what? OH! well you're a tall one arent you missy?"
"I own this orchard, I was working on making a new variety of apricot, when.. do you like apricots? they're wonderful things!" "Very curious, VERRRRRY Curious! Did you know that apricots have over 1000 uses?! Yep! It's true! Why they can cure warts, boils, soothe sores, the pit can be boiled into an adhesive, blah blah"

"uh.. the pig?"

Sighing as the gnome goes on about apricots and their many uses, involving you think choking his wife.. you heft up a large stone and hurl it up into the tree knocking the pig off the high branch.
With a thump it hits the ground into a patch of thistleberries.
Several violet Dutchess butterflies scatter about as a result, flitting about and angrily poking at the pig with their curly spout like proboscis.

Gnome: "And then there was the time I'd used apricots as a suppository an- WHAAA!?"
"MY WIFE!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?"

The gnome hurries over to his pig shooing away the butterflies.
"What have you done!?"

The gnome looks up to you, his face reddening with anger as he shouts.
"You're a monster! I know how to deal with monsters!!"
"Stay right there! I want to show you one more thing you can do with apricots!!"

With that the gnome turns to head off to a cottage in the near distance.
